Why we do what we do
About Us
Growing up in the Boston housing projects we didn't have much but we had our friends to count on. Having experienced poverty, broken homes, poor influences and more, we know how important having the right guidance mentor-ship and structure is.
As a kid growing up I wanted to be a singer. Unfortunately I faced a lot of resistance from parents, teachers and other adults. Even some of my acquaintances. They told me to forget about it and get a job, start a career, and work 50 years even though I may not like it. Now knowing what I know it’s love what you do do what you love we only get one life to make the best of it.
When I talk to kids and I ask them what they want to do for a living? They tell me I want to be a YouTuber, I want to be on TV, I want to be a star. Since I’m passionate about my dreams still at my age I tell them you can be whoever and whatever you want to be. I want to give kids a chance to do what they want to do.
That’s why I created the conveyor belt. I tell kids and young adults that once you step on the conveyor belt you become part of the family you focus on school, family, and being a valuable member of the community. While enhancing your skills when you leave you will have skills, experience and the resources to follow your entertainment dreams. You may even be able to make a successful career out of doing what you love.
